We have an exciting year ahead!

We are hosting the Regional Day in September.

We have an exciting programme of speakers and workshops.

Connected Threads is going from strength to strength.

Connected Threads meets on 16th January. 

The first branch meeting is on 19th January - this will be a members' meeting where we begin preparations for the regional day so bring your sewing kit (and glasses if you need them).

Christmas lunch

Over 60 members enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch today

the tables were beautifully decorated

the brooch swap was a great success

 and Meredith Towne spoke enthusiastically and entertainingly

on 'Glitz and Glamour'

Bridget Bowie talked on 'Paper, Stitch and Passion' - she brought lots for us to look at and the meeting was well attended as usual.

Excellent 2 day workshop with Alysn Midgelow-Marsden creating beautiful surfaces for 'Hanging Pods'

Today we had a really interesting talk by Sue and Sarah from Golden Hinde.  They brought beautiful work for us to see

October meeting

The October meeting will be a talk by Sarah from 'Golden Hinde on Goldwork.  She is bringing her 'shop' so you can stock up on hard to find supplies!
