February meeting

Our speaker on February 15th will be Amanda Clayton.
The title of her talk is 'My Blue Suitcase' which sounds very intriguing!

The mini workshop is "free machine strips' with Ruth Dalby and Judith Booth.

Our first meeting of 2018 will be on Thursday 18th January - it will be a members' meeting and you should have received an email from Trisha outlining the plans for the morning.

Christmas Lunch

We were slightly apprehensive about the December meeting as our usual venue, Brookfield Golf Club, closed at short notice. Our resourceful organiser, Chris Smith soon had The Public Hall booked and caterers arranged.

Thanks to Chris for her meticulous organisation and to Ruth Colley who, despite being unable to attend meetings, has continued to work away in the background on our behalf.  We do hope to see you in 2018 Ruth.

2017-18 programme

Waddow Hall

13 of us went to Waddow for a weekend of 'Knots and Crosses' tutored by Fay Maxwell.
We had a fantastic time - lots of fun, laughter and hard work too.

We started off with painted canvas to which we attached squares and rectangles of fabric with very large cross stitches
